BCP HISTORY

Read about what we do and how we came to do it

When we started we were just some kids making noise in the basement, after a few short lived bands we found each other and started writing our first songs.

Our first few shows were in friends’ basements, high school talent shows, and, our towns beloved and only venue, The Johnson Center for the Arts.

  • We booked our first gig before deciding a band name. When the venue asked what we were called we told them Black Cat Parade, Ethan’s Dad’s band name in high school.

After playing around town for a while we hit the studio and recorded our first single “Scared of You” which came out on Halloween of 2023. Shortly after, we put out our second single “Pilot (Wasting Away)”.

For awhile we had a few different bassists until our sweet prince Ben joined us halfway through recording our debut EP “The Lonely Ones”.
